Maybe we can get a thread going on this, because I think it may deserve it. Hyundai has Canyon Copper. It's orange and not something I'd generally like, but we got this in the shop today(it's getting factory matched tan interior), and under the cloudy sky with some rain droplets on it, it's beautiful:

What are some other great colors that automakers put on ordinary cars?

I wish I could have talked my grandma into that color instead of silver on her Santa Fe.

Also for a great color on an ordinary car, I choose Lime Squeeze on the Ford Escape and Mercury Mariner

My mom is looking to trade her '13 Sonata in the next few months. She loves orange. Her last five cars have been, white, black, white, silver, and white. She's in her 50s and needs something to haul all her work stuff around while getting good gas mileage. She's had two Sonatas so far, and loved them. It's about time to get a Canyon Copper one. Let her stand out a little.

The Santa Fe doesn't get the best gas milage, but it is a great replacement for my grandmothers old 2011 Sonata. It is very spacious, and easier for older people to get into.

We had one in the shop yesterday and it reminded me of the 90s and all the great deep greens (Ford, Saturn, and Toyota had really good dark greens then...)

It got tan perforated leather. Quite nice. Except driving it was no fun

Some of the Mitsubishi city cars come in a very similar shade, little less lime, and damn they look good

My first car was a Dark Emerald Green 92 Camry and so I'll second that.
